Midsummer's Night Festival

The gates of the castle are open for Midsummer's night. The stage is set for the production of "A midsummer night dream."

As you enter there are desserts and cakes a plenty, goblets of fine wine. There are quite a few extra guards on hand all around the castle. What you do not see is the Princess or her court.

Front row middle of the audience is a seat reserve for Mab Silveneous, wife of the Arch-duke.

[Beca]

Nephele enters the room looking around at the others gathered there. As always she is topless her long dark hair hanging in curls to cover her chest. Atop her head she wears a small wreath made of flowers and sprigs. Resting comfortably on her right shoulder is her small companion Ardent a small fire imp. SHe moves gracefully through the room almost as if on a mission.

[Carpe Noctem]

Gabriel enters the area with the stage, dressed in his usual green tunic and brown leather pants, the large claymore strapped to his back. He stands very tall as most Trolls, roughly 8'8" at a glance, with a blue hue to his skin and horns protruding from his head in spirals, much like that of an ibex. He smiles when he sees Nephele, but turns his attention to the current gathering, a curious look upon his face at the absence of the Princess or the nobles of the court.

[Beca]

Nephele looks over seeing Gabriel and moves closer. Next to his large frame she appears even smaller than she is. She gently reaches up and touches his arm. "You seem as curious as I am about the absence."

[Carpe Noctem]

Gabriel smiles down at Nephele, nodding to her words and returning his gaze to the room. He considers approaching one of the guards, but seems to be second guessing himself, his shy nature coming out a bit.

[Admin]

As the actors for the play are introduced, a red haired butterfly winged Sidhe moves through the crowd. Speaking to people in their seats, some people move to the rear of the seating while the childlings are moved up front in a bunch around a few Boggans.

The man on the stage announces Mab.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Her Grace, Duchess Mab Firelight-Silvaneous ni Fiona."

[Beca]

Nephele smiles watching Mab arrive before taking Gabriel's hand and leading him to a seat. She watches everyone as she sits resting a hand on Gabriel as Ardent climbs up to sit on his shoulder to see better.

[Carpe Noctem]

Gabriel gives a slight bow to Duchess Mab, before taking his seat with Nephele. He chooses a seat more towards the back, that way he isn't obscuring anyone's view of the stage due to his height.

The play goes on, and it goes on without incident. After the play is over, the childlings are taken inside a small hut, probably to play games. The grumps retreat into the castle for a meal. Light music plays in the courtyard where many of the wilder start dancing or courting.

Nephele smiles at Gabriel,

"Dance with me?"

She smiles sweetly almost child like.
